Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter of the Win Back Prize Draw (“Promotion”) is Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries (“us/we/our/Bluebridge”).
- The Promotion starts on Monday, 7 April 2025 and ends on Sunday, 11 May 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
- To qualify for entry, you must book your travel on Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries direct through the Bluebridge passenger service call centre, passenger terminal or website for travel between 1 November 2024 to 30 April 2025.
- To enter, you must complete the entry form and upload a photo or video from your recent trip on a Bluebridge Ferry and submit it via the form above.
- For the avoidance of any doubt, group bookings, bookings made using a prize voucher, StraitNZ Bluebridge freight bookings or bookings made by third parties (affiliated agents of Bluebridge) are excluded from this promotion. So too are employees and contractors of StraitNZ and their respective immediate families.
- Travel is subject to availability at the time of booking, and standard Bluebridge terms and conditions apply.
- All bookings made in accordance with the clauses outlined in 3 and 4 above will qualify for one entry into the prize draw corresponding to the date of booking within the Promotion Period.
- Only one entry per sailing is accepted. By entering you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions.
- There will be one winner drawn.
- The winner will receive back the value of their booking made within the travel period outlined in 3 above (“Prize”).
- The winner will have the cost of their booking refunded back to them. The refund may take up to 10 business days. If the winner paid for their booking via:
11.1. POLI or credit/debit card, their booking will be refunded to the same bank account or credit/debit card.
11.2. a Bluebridge gift or credit voucher, their booking will be refunded as the same type of Bluebridge voucher. The voucher is not changeable, or redeemable for cash.
11.3. Online banking, EFTPOS or cash, their booking will be refunded via bank transfer into a bank account of their choosing. The bank account is to be provided to us in writing.
11.4. Afterpay, their booking will be refunded to same bank account they paid from.
If the fare has not been paid, the booking will be converted to Free of Charge (FoC). The credit is not redeemable for cash or any other Prize. Any remaining outstanding amount must be paid within 14 days of the booking being made. - The winner will be contacted via email or phone number (as provided on the booking) by 5pm Monday, 19 May 2025.
- If the winner paid for their booking via online banking, EFTPOS, or with cash we cannot process the refund until we make contact with the winner, and they provide us with their bank account number in writing. As such,
13.1. If the winner paid via these methods, they must make contact with us to claim the Prize within three (3) days after the draw.
13.2. We reserve the right to conduct a redraw if the winner is not contactable using the email address or phone number provided or if they fail to contact us within three (3) days after the prize draw date. - We reserve the right to use the prize winners' name and region for publicity purposes without payment or other compensation.
- The Prize is as stated, and all supplementary costs or incidentals are at the winner’s expense.
- Decisions in relation to this competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- We reserve the right to disallow entries in our absolute discretion and without giving reasons.
- We reserve the right to amend, suspend, cancel, or extend any aspect of this Promotion (including any Prize or term) at any time in our sole discretion.

- By accepting the prize, the winner is deemed to have accepted these Terms.
- The Promotion will be governed by New Zealand law.
- When collecting personal information, Bluebridge complies with the Privacy Act 2020.
