Delays to services – Wednesday 3 December

As a result of a technical issue onboard the Livia on Tuesday, 2 December (which has been resolved), we have had to adjust our schedule temporarily to avoid having both vessels in port at once.
All sailings on Wednesday 3 December will be operating to an updated schedule. All affected customers will be communicated with via email and text and will be advised of the new final check-in time and estimated departure time for their sailing.
Wednesday 3 December
The sailings below will be operating with significant delay to departure of approximately 4-6 hours for Livia sailings and 3.5-4.5 hours for Connemara sailings. We will update this alert and communicate with all affected customers via email and text with their new final check-in time and estimated departure time for their sailing.
Wellington to Picton
- 8:15am – Est 4.5 hour delay. New est departure 12:30pm. DEPARTED
- 1:30pm - Est 5.5 hour delay to departure. New est departure 6:45pm-7:15pm
- 8:30pm – Est 3 hour delay to departure. Affected passengers second update expected at 6:30pm
Picton to Wellington
- 7:45am - Est 5.5 hour delay to departure. New est departure 1:30pm-2:00pm
- 2:00pm - Est 3.5 hour delay to departure. New est departure 5:30pm-6:30pm
- 7:15pm - Est 4.5 hour delay to departure. Affected passenger second update expected at 8:00pm
We’re really sorry for these delays and we understand this will be disruptive to our customer’s travel plans.
If you would prefer to arrange an alternative sailing option, please contact us on 0800 844 844 or email bookings@bluebridge.co.nz with your booking number. You can also change your booking online. Please note that we may be dealing with more calls than usual due to the disruption.
If you booked through a New Zealand-based or international travel agent, please contact them directly if you would prefer to reschedule your travel.
Plan your trip - check for roadworks
Please plan ahead and allow plenty of time to get to your Bluebridge ferry before your final check-in time. Keep in mind that roadworks are happening across the country which may add time to your journey.
