Sailing cancellations, Sunday 15 February & Monday 16 February

The conditions in Cook Strait are forecast to deteriorate significantly with large swells and strong winds from Sunday afternoon, continuing throughout Monday.

As a result, the following sailings are cancelled:

Sunday 15 February
Wellington to Picton:    1:30 pm, 8:30 pm
Picton to Wellington:    2:00 pm, 7:15 pm

Monday 16 February
Wellington to Picton:    2:00 am, 8:15 am, 1:30 pm, 8:30 pm
Picton to Wellington:    2:30 am, 7:45 am, 2:00 pm, 7:15 pm

Customers affected by the cancellations will be contacted via email and / or text. Where possible, bookings will be re-accommodated on other sailings or added to standby lists, but please note that there is currently very limited availability due to peak season demand. Customers affected may also request a full refund of their ticket.

Summer Availability

Availability throughout our peak summer months is currently extremely limited. Our website displays live availability across all sailings. Those showing as "not available" are sold out. Foot passenger space is still available across many sailings. Any additional vehicle space becoming available due to changes and cancellations will be released on our website for booking.

Plan your trip - check for roadworks

Please plan ahead and allow plenty of time to get to your Bluebridge ferry before your final check-in time. Keep in mind that roadworks are happening across the country which may add time to your journey.
