State Highway 63, Marlborough, near The Wash Bridge - Monday 7 Oct – Friday 6 Dec

From Monday 7 October to Friday 6 December, State Highway 63 (SH63), on the Blenheim side of The Wash Bridge, will be under stop/go from 7:30am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays. Please expect delays of up to 10 minutes during work hours and adhere to the 30km/h temporary speed limit when traveling through the site. Outside of work hours, the road will be reopened to two lanes, but the temporary speed limit of 30 km/h will remain in place.

State Highway 6 Rai Saddle Resilience Works - Monday 14 Oct – Friday 22 Nov

From Monday 14 October to Friday 22 November, State Highway 6 (SH6), will be down to one lane managed by stop/go traffic lights between 8am to 5pm. Please expect delays of up to 30 minutes during work hours and beware of the multiple worksites in place between Blenheim and Nelson during this time.

State Highway 1, Weld Pass night-works - Sunday 20 Oct – Thursday 24 Oct

From Sunday 20 to the morning of Thursday 24 October, State Highway 1 (SH1), at Weld Pass will be closed each night between 8 pm and 6 am. There will be one opening at midnight to let queued traffic through, and then the road will close again. If you are sailing with us during this time, please align your travels with the openings, or allow approximately 2 hours of additional time to travel the inland route via Lewis Pass, State Highway 7.

Please plan ahead and allow plenty of time to get to your Bluebridge ferry before your final check-in time. Keep in mind that roadworks are happening across the country which may add time to your journey.
