Connemara
Connemara arrived in Wellington on 29 January 2023 following a 40-day journey from France via the Panama Canal. Check out her arrival video here!
Connemara is Bluebridge’s largest, fastest, and newest ship yet and we know you’re going to love all the features onboard including:
- More private cabins with ensuite to enjoy that extra personal space
- Increased passenger capacity
- Better access from your vehicles to our passenger decks
And, of course, all of the things that make sailing with Bluebridge extra special - freshly prepared food by our onboard chefs, free Wi-Fi, a dedicated kids’ area with free movies, and our great Kiwi service.
Plus, on the Connemara, we have a special offering for our canine friends – dedicated dog- friendly cabins. That’s right; your dog can travel onboard with you!
Dog-Friendly cabins
There are a limited number of dedicated dog-friendly cabins (2 bed $65; 4 bed $85)* available on select sailings that can accommodate up to two dogs. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate other animals in these cabins.
All dog-friendly cabins have these features:
- Ensuite bathroom with shower
- Air conditioning
- 2 bed (twin) or 4 bed (twin bunks)
- Laminate flooring
- Water bowl
Bedding for your dog is not supplied so you must bring your own. All our cabins have complimentary fresh linen, towels, and body wash. Please see one of our staff members onboard for your cabin key.
A communal outside dog exercise area is also available onboard for passengers who have booked a dog-friendly cabin. Please note that for the safety and comfort of all passengers, dogs are not allowed in the main passenger areas of the ship (except certified assistance dogs) and all dogs must be kept on a lead when outside of the cabin this includes when boarding and disembarking and in the dog exercise area. If your dog is considered to be of a dangerous breed, or is not very social, it must be muzzled as well.
We believe the dog-friendly cabins will be in high demand, so make sure you book early.
For more information about our dog-friendly cabins, please refer to our full terms and conditions and conditions of carriage.
*Pricing is correct as at 31 January 2023 and is subject to change.
